When I was a little girl from Philly, I wanted to see the world. However, for the first 20 years of my life, the Broad Street Subway Line was my only means of exploration, the literal center of my universe. Eventually, I would leave Philly, join the Air Force and blossom into the young woman I always envisioned myself to be. Also, though seldom used, my nickname is Tinkerbell. So hopefully this explains the Broad & Bell. Not to mention, we also have the Liberty Bell back at home too. Disclaimer: I miss my city, and I’m homesick at least once a week, so you’ll be seeing or hearing a lot of references to Philly. For instance, the Eagles (our NFL team) won their first Superbowl/Lombardi Trophy….sooooooo I may unintentionally, but elegantly, lace that throughout my posts.
Why am I not in Philly? Well once I left for the Air Force, I lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rheinland Pfalz, Germany, and ended up here in Great Falls, Montana. I separated from active duty service in October of 2015, but my hubby is still stationed here, so here I am. I’m trying to live my best life despite these ghastly negative temperatures, snow, ice, and wind that could take you to Oz. I also have my spontaneous one-year-old son in tow, he’s a great kid but man he can be unpredictable at times!
Nevertheless, I really enjoy fashion and makeup. That’s it. I’ve always wanted to have an outlet for my love and appreciation for both and hopefully, this will help.
Bottom line, I am an Air Force Veteran & Spouse. New, but working Mom haphazardly balancing life with the help of fashion & makeup.
I am here for all of you that share a similar story.
